"I thought linen was the best?" Don't get us wrong- we love linen too but hear us out: Hemp is a natural fiber which requires very limited, and often no application of pesticides and fertilizers in cultivation. It's production uses approximately 80% less water than conventional cotton. Hemp is regenerative, requires less land than cotton to grow and yields 4-5 times more material per acre than Flax (linen). Hemp returns nutrients to the soil, whereas Flax depletes it. It has some of the longest natural fibers in the world making it stronger and more durable than alternatives, and it is naturally resistant to mold and mildew.
